FASHION :: Carolina Cup Outfits

We only have two weeks until my favorite day of the year and I am anxiously counting down every day! Carolina Cup is on April 2nd!! For those of you who don't know, Carolina Cup is a horse race in Camden, South Carolina. College students from all over the south take buses to the event which is half fashion show, half tailgate, and you might even see a horse if you're lucky.  I heard someone refer to it as Preppy Woodstock earlier this week, which is pretty fitting.

Of course, I take my outfit for Carolina Cup very seriously, but this year is something extra special because I get to dress a boy too! Check out our outfits. What do you think? Are they preppy enough?

I'll admit that the thing I'm most stoked about is that the boyfriend's Cordial Churchman pink seersucker bow tie is going to match my pink seersucker dress so, so well!

    I'm going this year (and skipping my senior sorority formal) and I'm pretty excited about my dress, which I bought back in July or August. It's also so convenient that all my friends' schools go... hopping from tent to tent and seeing friends from the Citadel, Davidson and UNC all in a day is hands down my favorite part!

    Looks like fun...wish they had a California Cup but it probably would more like the original Woodstock;)

    I am your newest follower & so super jealous that I'm up north while you all have so much fun at this event! I love the outfits too .. can't go wrong with pink and seersucker!
